Common questions

How do I add a receipt?
Open the app and tap Upload: scan it with the camera, or pick photos and PDFs. You can also email it to Mike, or text him a photo.

How do I sign in?
Type your mobile number and the 6-digit code we text you. No password.

Where are my books?
In the Books tab: totals by month and year, every entry, and the photo of each receipt. Tap an entry to fix anything.

I buy stock or parts ahead. How is that counted?
Only what you use or sell in the year counts as that year's cost. Say you buy three doors and install one: one door is this year's cost, and the two you keep are inventory (an asset). File every purchase as usual. When your year ends, Mike asks how much stock, materials or parts you have left unused; reply with the amount at cost, or 0 if none. That amount comes out of this year's cost and counts next year. If you already had stock when you started with Mike, tell him the amount in Chat.

Can I use it for more than one business?
Yes. Add another business and switch between them; each has its own books.

How do I get my data out?
In Books, tap Export everything for a .zip of every receipt and record.

How do I delete my account?
Settings > Delete my account. See how account deletion works.
